Project Goals:

To fight botnets by building a network of national support centers integrated into a single database – a Centralized clearing house offering a full range of services.

A continuous fight against botnets.

Target groups: 

• Owners/administrators of ASN (autonomous system number) or IP-range.
• ACDC community for real-time notifications for incidents in ASN or IP.
• Academic circles.
• Researchers in the field of IT security.
• Technology providers.
• SMEs, end users.
• National Anti-Botnet Centers for regular information on the latest threats and risks on the Internet.
• Interbranch community of stakeholders.

Project Activities:

• Planning, integrating and providing tools and sensors to identify cyber-related botnets.
• Evaluating and stimulating mitigation of cyber attacks against networks, websites, end user computers and mobile devices.
• Dissemination, exploitation and long-term viability.
• Creating an ACDC community through a single social platform for sharing and exchanging information.

• Provision of instruments and sensors to identify botnet-related cyber-threats.
• Creation of an ACDC community through a single social platform for sharing and exchanging information.
• The following organizations in Bulgaria joined the project as associated partners: CERT Bulgaria, Information Services AD, University of National and World Economy – Sofia, two institutes of BAS (Institute of Mathematics and Informatics and Institute of Information and Communication Technologies), National Laboratory of Virology at BAS, University of Telecommunications and Posts, National Statistical Institute, National Railway Infrastructure Company, private companies, University of Veliko Tarnovo, Telenor.
