Information systems of Bulgarian Posts were subject of a serious cyber-attack on Saturday, April 16, 2022.

There will be no disruption in the payment of pensions, social benefits and one-time Easter allowances in the post offices in the whole country.

Domestic consignments without cash on delivery also will be delivered. 

As a result of the cyber-attack there may be difficulties in using only part of the services of Bulgarian Posts.

The cyber-attack was detected quickly and measures were taken immediately, as well as a resource of the state cloud infrastructure was provided for the transfer of the Bulgarian Posts’ systems. The teams of the

competent institutions work on the analysis of the malicious actions and assessment of the affected systems.
