DELAY IN THE PROCESSING AND DELIVERY OF SHIPMENTS IN THE USA

The postal operator of the USA, USPS, informs that it has declared a force majeure situation due to the impact of the Los Angeles fires, which have caused widespread catastrophic damage in Southern California. The operator is experiencing serious difficulties in transporting and delivering shipments. Postal facilities have been destroyed.   Areas with zip codes in the 90001 - 95399 range are affected. Recovery and cleanup in these areas are expected to be lengthy, resulting in significant delays in the processing and delivery of shipments.  

In addition, USPS has declared a force majeure situation in areas with zip codes in the 99556 - 99780 range due to the impact of severe winter conditions, which have caused restrictions as to the provision of postal services within a 50-mile radius of Anchorage, Alaska.
