CHANGES IN THE PENSION PAYMENT PERIOD AT POST OFFICES

Bulgarian Posts inform of amendments in the Ordinance on Pensions and Insurance Length of Service, in effect as of 24 July, 2026, according to which post offices pay out pensions and associated supplements in the period from the 7th to the 20th of the month to which they relate. When the 7th or the 20th falls on a non-working day, the payment period begins at the start and ends at the close of the preceding working day.  

In line with the amendments, pensions and associated supplements for September will be paid out from 4 to 18 September, 2026.
